Default Ways to help our service members in battle.

Without a doubt one of my biggest regrets is that I never served our country. I let the time pass me by and it is too late in my life to do it now. My thoughts and prayers are always with our service members but I want to do something more. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Sammy

You can volunteer with the USO. Also volunteer for functions for veterans or homecomings. You may also try to bring more awareness to the sheeple in the communities who forgot about all the soldiers, marines, sailors and airmen once the towers became a memory. I went to indianapolis on pass after mobilizing and I saw USO posters EVERYWHERE. In the mall, down town. It was completely alien to me to see that. I never have seen anything pro military in any mall I've been in back home.
You can join Military.com and it will be easier to search for orgnizations there also.

this.

Anyways, sending care packages to deployed servicemembers does boost morale. Books, CD's, video games, candy, cookies and whatnot. Anything to relieve the boredom and make them feel more at home.

How do I find out about sending care packages to service members? Point me in the right direction and I would love to make the holidays better for a few.

these guys are pretty cool.

You can even volunteer with them if you have the time:

They are located in CA, and I got two care packages from them in theater.

Now if you have another plan in your mind (gear, knives, etc,), I can put you in contact with units that are deployed. I have plenty of brothers and sisters deployed right now who will appreciate it.

as I understand it,
100% of your contribution goes to the service members, there are zero administrative costs because it's an all volunteer organization.
