Pretty sure it's part of the Air Force Academy.

Edit: Maybe not, I was thinking of the chapel.

Phrog, you're close.
1. This place is still relatively new, so maybe not many have visited.
2. It's so large, you can see it from the freeway.
3. It's home to a very special flag.

If you guys haven't been, it's definitely worth the trip! The exhibits are amazing, especially noteworthy are Boot Camp exhibits complete with the bus arrival scene and the Korean War nighttime exhibit with the cold and the incoming tracers. You could also see how well you do on the M16 rifle qual course. Did I also mention that it has lots of guns?

Stormfeather and I were in a marksmanship class prior to deploying (he was at armorer school and I was at a medical predeployment school when our unit qualified, so we had to get run through with a couple others). The instructor of our class was completely ignorant on the ACOG and had no idea on how it worked, how to zero it, and when he picked up my weapon (I had the only ACOG in the room), he looked through it and told me to turn it off so the batteries didn't die. Seriously. He wasn't kidding.

Back on topic:

Here's a pic inside the rotunda
