Got there around 5am, crazy line by the time the gates opened. Met some good guys, i was there for ammo, 223/556 was limited to 250 rounds for reloads @ about $130. The rest of the ammo seemed fairly priced, just need to bring patience. Overall stuff was steeply priced, Blueline was there and I food talk with them.

The air was thick of uncertainty Abbott the looming laws to be imposed, cheers

LAX always was and still is substantially more expensive then Miwall. Really no clue why people would buy at LAX vs. Miwall

I tagged along with my father and his friend. Got there a bit after 10am.

No parking (people were driving around and around looking for spots, we got one as someone else pulled out).

No lines at the front entrance (which surprised me).

The Ammo booths had waiting lines, at least an hour long. Inside the buildings were ***** to ***** and shoulder to shoulder. No room to move and barely enough to breath.

No reloading supplies. No powder, no primers, no bullets, and only a few vendors with a few ziploc bags of beat up brass I would not trust to reload.

Lots of overpriced magazines ($40-$45+ for a Tapco AK mag?).

Blah blah blah... Yeah, I didn't buy 1 single thing. Waste of time and money.

Were they sold out or just nobody selling them? Just curious because I noticed Miwall didn't bring their usual stock of powders and bullets last show, but they did bring some primers.

Id say the crowds were bigger than I expected and there was a decent size line to enter in the AM. Once inside there were small to large lines for ammo depending on what vendor your were buying from. I wish they had large price sheets posted out front of the lines, they would have been helpful.

The overall crowd seemed pretty mellow and it was good to see a healthy turnout. The hot item seemed to be AR lowers which many of the vendors were already selling out of by the afternoon of the first day. There was a plentiful supply of magazine vendors selling both completes and rebuilds.

Overall I give it a thumbs up!

Got there around 12:30 to pick up a couple lowers and whatever other chotchkys I could find. Was surprised by the ammo lines and the packed parking lot. No line for tickets but have never seen this many people and vendors at a Ventura show, ever. I thought there was a good amount of things to buy and fiddle with. I asked about some rebuild kits for my XD, $65! Laughed at him and walked away. I'm glad I got my lowers and managed to find 500 9mm bullets for my brother. I did get word that someone showed up wanting to buy all the 5.56 they had, cash, but was told to FOAD, not sure if true but a good laugh. I didn't feel like waiting in the line for ammo but I still have my hand stamped so I may head back tomorrow to go through the leftovers. It seemed to be controlled chaos.

The big question is when did your friend buy that ammo? My local WalMart is totally wiped out of everything.
