ATF Inspection
Ok so I had a firearm that was my personal gun stolen. After reporting it to the local PD and ATF guess what. They came by to check our records and make sure all guns were here still. I knew all our ducks were in order and he was here for about 3 hours. All guns accounted for and 4473s for all sales.
So my question is did anyone else have expierence with this? Did I do the right thing by just opening our book to him and saying look at whatever you want? Im guessing ATF used the stolen gun as an incident to come by and do and inspection. After he was here he left and said that everything was cool. Thoughts? |

Wasn't the shop that sold the gun used in Newtown closed do to multiple thefts and unaccounted for firearms?
