Trying to upload more than one pic from computer. Seems to only let me do one pic. When I upload second pic it deletes first instead of adding another one. Any suggestions

You can post on the thread (same thread, new post) by typing "Bump" or something to that extent

I've never been able to post a Youtube video on this forum. I tried the instructions on the sticky but I must be doing something wrong. I replaced the [ to < and ] to >, copied and pasted 0_EFdod4YDo after the equal sign. <YOUTUBE]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_EFdod4YDoPApRcRE-ft8&ab_channel=MrgunsngearChannel[/YOUTUBE>

Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PApR...nsngearChannel

I'm unable to upload any more pictures. Whenever I try and upload a picture; going advanced and clicking on the paperclip, it pops up a window to upload an attachment but above that, there's a horizontal bar all in red and saying that I have 3.89 MB uploaded already. When I try and upload a photo it says I'm x amount of MB over my limit. What's the problem?

You've reached your limit of CGN storage for attachments and need to clear some old stuff out before you can add new stuff. Or, if you don't want to lose that stuff, you can start using third party hosting sites like tinypic, photobucket or others and link to your photo.

Here's how to clear/edit the CGN storage: click "User CP" in top header when you are logged on. In the left colomn on the next page, under "Miscellaneous", click "Attachments". You'll then see all of your stored stuff with the ability to delete old/unwanted stuff to make room for more stuff.

Now go forth and attach anew.

Pinto,

Thanks for the reply and guidance on removing old stuff.

I have one question. I was told by Ivanimal that I have a 4 MB limit per post, so every time I make a new post, I should have another 4 MB. In this case, it's a total of all posts with an attachment and that total is only three posts for a total of 3.89 MB. I've seen people post way more than that using hi resolution pictures in .jpg as well as .pdf. Why would my total posts only be 4 MB? Thanks

I'm not sure what Ivan was saying. You might want to send him a PM for clarification. He may have been referring to your max storage limit for CGN rather then per post. Also, I believe there is a per post limit to the number of pics but not necessarily on the total size. But I may be wrong.

Posts with high res and multiple images are most likely linking to images hosted on third party sights like tinypic, photobucket, etc.

You do not get to make your own forum without approval by The Fast Bird.
You can start a new thread though.
Go to the forum that is most suitable for your subject and go over to "forum tools".
Click on "post a new thread", type in your information.

good luck

Write a new post at the bottom and go "bump" or "TTT" (take to top) or add a new comment, etc. depending on the message.

You can see many examples in the For Sale sections.

Edit: Don't forget to wait 24 hours for sales ads.

Well, photobucket is an epic fail. Page can't load, won't load, thinks about loading, grinds to a halt, much like a liberal. The site seems to be bogged down in some way.

Any other ideas?

I'm new to posting pics. I've read everything on this thread. I've practiced a little bit and have found that it is easy to post straight from my computer but it only shows a link to the picture. How do I do it so that the pic automatically shows every time? Please don't tell me I need to use photobucket. It looks like they may have been good at one time but the reviews now are awful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For Handguns, go to the Marketplace.

You can also place an ad in the WTB (Want To Buy) section.

Bump, TTT (Take To Top), etc. are terms use to refresh the ad to the top of the listings.
This can be done once per day max.

ps: Welcome
