buying used and new pistol within 30 days?
I just bought a pistol PPT, the 10 days is up, and I am about to pick it up. I am looking to buy a different brand new pistol soon. Do PPTs count for the 1 in 30 hand gun purchase limit? or does the limit apply to all pistols regardless of buying new or doing a ppt?
Thank you! |

As stated in the Wiki, PPTs are exempt from the 1 in 30 law. You can buy as many HG in that period via PPT as your wallet can handle.
Remember PPT's are pvt seller to pvt seller face to face, once a FFL gets involved other than DROsing the gun, then it falls under the 30 day law, ie a shipped gun is no longer considered a PPT.
