To be fair- not impossible but difficult to own any of the 9mm Ruger pistols that have magazines that fit the PC carbine since none of them are on "The List".

FYI - armsunlimited.com says they are selling to the Californicated. $1 off each pmag if you buy 6 pmags, mix and match.

That looks cool, almost like a modern day Suomi submachine gun.

I swapped to the Glock insert right away..

I would say it's a VAST majority considering the popularity of Glocks compared to Rugers.

Yeah I swapped both mine before shooting, but I had no compatible ruger mags AFAIK.

I am personally waiting for Magpul or someone to make some aftermarket stock options before I jump into it.

YUP. Remove the factory front/rear sights. Smooth rail, same height as receiver so we can run a BUIS and cowitness a Red Dot.

There was a poll done on this and:

112% of purchasers set up their guns for Glock mags;
47% left the Ruger mag adapter at the FFL;
81% have listed their mag adapter on CalGuns for sale as, “unique” and “never fired”;
4% are indicating that the mag adapter is only for the rare, non-threaded barrel gun.

Just fumbling around and realized I made the below post on 3/28, at 8:29 p.m.:

A little heavy, but the more I play with it, the more I like it. (Having Glock magazines from the ‘80s doesn’t hurt. )
What a difference a day made!!!!!

Yeah AFAIK the versions with the new free-float hand guard are the same 9mm guns with that part swapped in for $80 premium (on MSRP at least).

I just jailed one yesterday.

Other than the obvious (buying lots and lots of ammo for it), what recommendations do you suggest for it? Mine is the threaded barrel version.

I probably would prefer to run it with only irons at first, as the takedown feature was a big selling point for me.

What I'd like is a case which can hold the two pieces securely with storage for the magazines and its accompanying Glock. A case which looks more or less like a briefcase and not something obvious as a gun case.

There is another thread about the PCC that has every opinion, "what I did" mod you can think of.

With that said just shoot the gun right out of the box for several hundred rounds and then determine what, if any, mods you feel "you" like.

Most take down cases will also accommodate a sight of some form. I have the Primary Arms 2.5x optic on mine and it fits this "Ruger clone" case along with extra mags. Has a side pocket you could also put a pistol in

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use PMag Glock 9mm mags

GunTests test report comparing the Ruger and two competitors (Beretta and Just Right).

https://www.gun-tests.com/issues/31_...&s=p_wss042519

The Just Right is the most accurate and most compatible with after market AR-15 parts. Beretta is the lightest, by far. They liked the Ruger best overall.

Who sells a buttstock ammo pouch for the Ruger PCC? I would like something that'll hold 2 xtra pistol mags on the side.

Been waiting for the .40 S&W since this gun came out. Got one on order, waiting for production to catch up. Should be shipped in the next week or so.

Definitely want the new fore end as soon as they become available as an accessory. Always looking for other options.

I'd look to rig up some kind of velcro-on molle panel... and then use whatever I wanted like a cheap $10 double pistol pouch or a nice $30 one. If it was stick-on and secure you wouldn't need the straps going around the buttstock. Plenty of those though, but mostly AR style for rifle mags.

Do you really want to make this thing heavier?

You might want to mock up something simple and check weight/trim/balance before you charge into this (and add to the ‘holster drawer” collection.

I asked due to them being shorter mags , was not sure of clearances in the mag well

would think the smaller size would look a little better in the rifle than a 17 mag ..

won't stick out as much

G20 is a 10mm. It’s a favorite of Alaskan guides.

That's exactly why I got them, if I have to be limited to 10 rounds, I might as well use the ones that are designed for them. They fit perfectly in the magazine well.

Whaaat? Didn't pick up the fun stick during Magapalooza? I had a lot of fun a couple days ago unloading a 33rd mag out of mine I, also, use the G26 mags though, and yes they look...less funny. It is a fun gun and accurate at the shorter ranges I was shooting indoors. I am keeping it stock as of now, and think it's still a nice gun. I like that rail, but IDK that I need it. Got a 1/2" riser for the front end to put a light on it. Other than a red dot, I think it's good to go.

satisfy the current need by just doing spray-paint then.

much cheaper and you won't feel as bad once magpul does release a stock for it.

Is there a big difference with that muzzle brake? I saw it for sale but didn’t want to add that much length unless it was worth it.
