Default Ruger Wranglers and Turners
Just checking to see if any of you guys have gotten the pre-order Wranglers that Turners was selling a few weeks ago?

I checked two weeks ago and they were still out of stock. I am in no rush, just curious.

Anyone here having better luck than me?

I'm getting my silver one out of jail today. I could have gotten it yesterday afternoon but I couldn't make it to Orange yesterday.

Wrangler has alloy grip frame, aluminum cylinder frame and steel parts with a cerakote finish - just a Ruger version of the Heritage Rough Rider.

When y'all get a chance to shoot your Wranglers, please report on the accuracy. If it's good, I'll buy one too.

I have a Heritage Rough Rider, and the accuracy is meh.

No, the Wrangler is a much more substantial weapon than the Rough Rider.

I looked at the RR several times over the years, always as a possible impulse buy when DROS'ing something else.
The RR always felt, wrong. It was lighter than it should be, unfinished.
To be frank it felt more like a toy than a gun.

When I checked out my Wrangler, briefly while doing the DROS, it felt solid like a gun and very much like the Single Six my Dad had when I was a kid.

Picked up my silver one from Chino Hills yesterday. The sales guy said he’s seen the silver and black ones, but not the gold one yet.

Price and quality. It's mainly aluminum and painted not blued steel. Built to compete with other cheap 22 plinkers on the market.
