Default Range qualification in the rain

Going for range qualification tomorrow in Dublin. Forecast is 100% rain. Any tips for shooting in the rain? Thanks!

Wear a hat or your eye protection will get very wet, hard to use the sights with a giant drop of water in front of your eye. I find that a little rainx anti-fog/water on the lenses helps also.

Ignore the rain. Focus on your sights and the target.

Dont let it get in your head that your wet and cold! I rifle quald at the beginning of a typhoon where we had to Kentucky Windage 4 targets to either side to hit your assigned target. It was wet, cold and windy as hell. You could tell who was affected by the weather! You never get to choose when a fight happens. Best to train in the worst weather so you are prepared

Thanks everyone! Qualified with a G19. Everything got wet. The most helpful was wearing a hat, otherwise I would be constantly wiping my eye protection. Definitely go with the umbrella option if the score does not matter.

Hats are really important. Not a ball cap either.
I use a wide brim cowboy type hat.
360 coverage on the melon/neck.
Shooting in the rain to ccw qual and many times just for sheets and giggles. Good learning experience. Finding people to shoot with under these conditions tends to thin the heard tho.

Sent using a long string and 2 used soup cans
