Redfield Junior type mount for Deer rifle, thoughts.

Looking for opinions on using a Redfield Junior mount, 30mm medium rings, for my Christensen Arms Mesa in 6.5 Creedmoor. All thoughts welcome, A2

I would not. That is an old, heavy design. A light rifle shohld have light mounts like integral talleys and a light scope.

Anyways, it comes with a pic rail. I don't know that Redfield makes a base that would fit.

I run a Redfield Jr. base on my Interarms Mark X, it's sold as heck, windage adjustable so you can zero the reticle's windage adjustment ( set it in the middle of its adjustment range) and use the mount to zero the windage and I always prefer the rings mounted on the same level plain with a 1-piece base. The weight is the only sacrifice IMO, maybe the look too, it is an old design.
