Default Orosco Ridge

I went to Orosco last Saturday even though the clean up was canceled. It was my first experience there and really my first experience with an outdoor shooting place. I took my son and one of his friends, we all could not beleive the amount of trash there was. Just a bunch of junk, an old excersize bike, and some video game consoles a bunch of scrap would and tons of carboard and a boatload of expended shells and casings. (and all of this was only in the one area we were shooting in) After shooting my glock we loaded up the back of my titian full with no only our trash but allot of other stuff.

How hard is it to pick up what you brought? I hate people who are pigs like that. They ruin it for all of us who do the right thing.

Any how I just had to vent

Oh by the way my son and his friend bot loved shooting, both are 18 and now want to buy a weapon of some type. My son wants a shotgun and his friend a 10/22.

Did that bike have a blue plastic frame? I saw that out there the last time I was there just a few days before you went... :::shaking head:::

Eveyr little bit may help but truly the area needs to be near spotless to not have a ranger take notice of what area needs to be SHUT DOWN.

We are trying to totally clean one up in Forresthill tomorrrow...

From the maps I've seen, it's close to the dump, I wonder if they'll just extend the dump to include that area?
