Quality is top notch! Install easy! Function not sure yet haven't been to the range with it yet.

I also have there internals also. Did some reading on the interwebs, stock guide rod is plastic and the barrel bushing has lots of slop. So I replaced with recommend parts hope it pays off. Also got the mainspring housing and mag well for S&G's

Good stuff !
Remember to remove the packing grease and re-lube it before you shoot it ... or else it will smoke like a barbecue like mine after shooting 100 rounds...

Well it's been well over a month (3/6/14) now since I picked up mt 1911R and still no call from Turners about the pickup for my free .22LR!

Anybody else got theirs recently, should I bug them?

I wish that Sig would promote their P938 like this. Buy a P938-9 get a P938-22 for free.

That would rock.

Picked up my .45 on Feb. 18th. So today, still no call from Turner's on the .22 so I called them.... again. All they could say is that that they got a "big box o'guns" as he put it but my name isn't on this list. They don't know when the next batch will come in. So it's just wait....and wait....and...

A serial number for mine was finally assigned earlier this month at Turner's. I am planning to sell mine as soon as it can be DROS'd by a new buyer in 30 days at Turner's in Corona.

The only recent ones I've seen that have the Sig special is RifleGear and Palmetto State Armory. I'd contact them to see if they can get you in on the deal.

I checked rifle gear 20 min after their email and all gone at that time... Probably for the best as the better half would be very hard to convince on another gun related purchase :/

For the particular one that this thread is referring to, NO, it is not, it has been over well over a month now. However I saw the spartan 1911 with the same deal going on, but considering that model is not on the Roster, makes it moot. I do believe that one as well is over, but again, moot.

Just have to wait for the next deal, if there is a next one. only time will tell

Is this deal really over? It says until 4/30. Was there any shop around the bay area that was having this deal?

I called turners 2 days ago in fountain valley and the person I spoke with told me that sig retracted this offer due to the high volume that was bring sold. Was this a miscommunication? I have up on my search because of this. Thanks fellas

Just spoke with Torrance location. For those still waiting for the 1911-22, the rep said they should be getting stock in the next couple of weeks.

Not miscommunication, more like they realized that they didn't account for the popularity, and let alone if they sold too much, would lose alot of money in giving away 1911-22's out to everyone that bought this.

I recieved both the offer and the early termination of the offer, and definitely sounded like they hit their quota quite quickly.

As for those who can get the deal , you're lucky those stores still have them (and honor them) in stock, as they already sold all the 1911's in relation to those deals. It seemed each store had a certain stock. Otherwise, the deal is over and most stores are done offering the deals.
