Turners Weekly Ads and Off The Hook Specials no longer coming
I'm not sure how, what, or why, but I'm no longer receiving the Turner's ads. I've checked the spam folder and even re-signed up, but I'm not getting the e-mails.
My only thought is perhaps the Ad company used by Turner's got blacklisted by my ISP? Anyone else?

Now that you mention, I don't think I get them any more either. I usually check Facebook on Wednesdays and Thursdays and keep up to date on their sales. Not that they've had anything interesting for awhile.

Doesn't matter anyway. They get 1 or 2 of whatever is in the ad if any at all for each store. Of course the items are "subject to prior sale" meaning by the time Wednesday rolls around they don't have anything to sell, and THEY DON'T CARE.
Seems sorta like bait-and-switch type of sales tactics to me, except, well let's see, the have no ammo to sell, they have no guns to sell. The spring sale ad runs for a given slot of time and, oh, they don't even have several items in stock at the beginning of the sale let alone throughout and blame it on distributors. This happens all the time Turners, you can blame everyone else. The truth is you guys simply shouldn't be running ads if you can't fulfill them even in the first 5 minutes of the first day the ad breaks. Pathetic way to conduct business in my opinion and yes, I know I don't have to shop there...Do you know that? Free tip: Instead of focusing on new customers, focus on how many you are losing. People catch on quickly to your games. How many sales are you missing due to the way you conduct business. My post doesn't even touch on what most people here AND ESLEWHERE complain about your stores: the horror stories of the people you tend to hire. That is a given by reputaion of your chain. I can overlook that to make my purchase power work for me utilizing your sales...until you can't fulfill those advertising obligations consistantly which is where you have been for some time now, NOT DUE TO THE CURRENT DEMAND. You guys have been pulling this crap for quite a while, and guess what? I haven't been spending my money there FOR QUITE A WHILE! I am not the only one... |
