If someone would have said "I'm going to use a nail art pen on my gun" I would have laughed at them, but that looks really nice. Has me wondering where I might go to buy a nail art pen...

At a beauty supply store where you get your acrylic nail stuff.

I'll admit I am a little sheepish when I tell people how I did it. I swear though, my wife is the legal owner of the pen.

Only "custom" thing about it, is a few hours of polishing.

Custom Stippling Job, TLR2, Springer 3.5 Trigger and Sear Worked over by me, Trijicon Night Sights, Feed Ramp Polished, and Grip Reduction so its almost the same size as an XD9. Here is proof!

Interesting thread, pretty hard not to want to buy one after looking at the pics. Just plain nice looking, must find one and hold it.

My XD9. My favorite gun. I'm so much more accurate with this pistol than any other.

Picked up my XD9 a week ago. Cleaned & lubed, then put a couple hundred rounds through it this weekend. Love this gun.

I put the paint in the letters and let it sit for about 45 seconds, just so it barely starts to set. After that I gently wipe with a cotton ball with acetone free nail polish remover. Dont wipe more than once with the same part of the ball, you smear the paint. Dont press too hard either, you will squish remover into the letters. One last thing is dont be afraid to get enough remover on the cotton ball, but dont use too much.

I may have just made it worse, but i hope it helped.

I'll play along. Crappy cell pics but here's my XD40 Tactical, Hogue grips, XD Flashlight holder, Maglite 200 XL flashlight.

Trying to get my hands on a XDm. Hopefully soon.

I just joined up, been lurking for a while. I'm from El Dorado County (Northern CA).

One of my hobbies is photography. There are some really nice photos here! This was actually a quick snapshot (not even a tripod or lights). I took it on a piece of black glass and bounced the camera flash off a poster board behind the gun. I just posted a similar photo of my Sig in the Sig forum.
