Default How Old Is This Ammo?

I recently ordered a few cans of this ammo from PSA. They look like this and they are 7.62x54r, not sure if the image below is?

Is this stuff older or younger than the normal spam cans of Bulgarian Silver Tip that we all know and love that looks like this?

PSA sold the silver cans as Ukranian 7.62x54R and the cans I received are intact but really crusty. I have not opened any of them yet. Did anyone recently order any of this ammo from PSA and have you shot it yet? I know PSA is a quality dealer and I am not concerned, I am just unfamiliar with these cans and what era they are from. I think the Bulgarian Silver I have been shooting is from the 70s and early 80s?

I don't have my can like this here with me, but as I recall mine is Bulgarian yellow-tip heavy ball dated in the mid 1950's. I think I got mine from AIM several years ago, maybe along with some spam cans of 1970's Polish and Russian light ball, but don't recall for sure now.

These early solder seal zinc cans often look like hell, but the ammo inside is usually clean and reliable. I say "usually", because I seem to recall an incident or two where folks opened these and found water or water damage. - Kind of like that spam can of Polish light ball another member here posted some photos of recently.

I want to keep my cans sealed but I may have to open a few of them just to mitigate my concerns. I saw that post, it was scary. And ammo is non-returnable.

The ammo I usually see in that silver cans are typically 40-50 production. I've only seen Russian ones though (light ball, light ball on clips, heavy ball)

1st pic is Hungarian factory 23, heavy ball, non steel core, copper wash steel case, loaded in 1956. Huge fireball from a M44.
2nd pic is Russian factory 188, light ball BT bullet, copper wash steel case, red lacquer sealed bullet and primer, loaded in 1973.
All that I've opened, (and it's been a lot) have been clean and 100% sure fire.
