Default Are you an NRA member?

I was wondering if all of you guys are NRA members? If you are, how long have you been a member for?

If you are not, why not? I know it is $35 but it is only $35 once a year and you get a magazine subscription and sometimes a free gift.

Have any of you helped out with the Friend's of NRA dinners? I will admit that all the work that goes into it is not the most fun but the money goes to a very good cause. There are dinners all over the country.

Life and asked them to cancel the mailings. I've been a member for at least a decade. I've won a ton of stuff and bid on a ton of stuff at FNRA dinners.

You guys all should join if you are not already members. Then, once you turn 18, go see the USMC recruiter. It will set you on a good course for the rest of your life.

LIFE since 1974. Best $100 I ever spent. Just for reference $100 in 1974= $433 in 2008! Pete

There was a guy on an earlier post busting balls for people just walking by the NRA booth at gun shows so I signed-up outside the Reno show. Charlton Heston would be proud.

I've been a member going on three year now... and proud of it!

My only regret was not becoming a lifer years ago when I first started to exercise my second amendment rights (and when it was cheaper)

I joined about three years ago... but my last re-up and sent in more than the minimum and got a nice shooters/gun bag. Use it to carry my ammo and other AR "accessories" to the range. Just an added perk to being a member.

I signed up at a gunshow last summer. They said if you signed up you get to go inside for free, so I jumped on the opportunity. Then I realized I had to pay $25 for the membership. I went through with it to save face

I'm a member.

Signed my son up last year. He was 11 months old when I signed him up and will be 2 this July! He likes to walk around and show off his member card to family and friends. I'm sure he'll be the envy of his pre-school.

I've been a Life Member for 30+ years. I just upgraded my membership this past December when I bought two of my son's in law annual memberships for Christmas.
