Default Considering moving to Ventura county, CCW easier?

Hey everyone,

I'm considering moving this year to Ventura county. Is obtaining a LTC here really easier (in LA County now)? I've got no problems with the law, no tickets. Self defense work here for good cause? I'm a physically disabled veteran (verifiable with the VA), is that pertinent info to add?
Thanks in advance

it's hard to find anything worse than Los Angeles (well, SF and SD come to mind but I digress)
Yes, Ventura is an upgrade to LA, no questions about that and Legal Self Defense is an acceptable Good Cause in that county but at the moment all eyes are back on the Peruta Case which could change everything.
The 9th has decided to reheard the case En Banc so we're waiting to see how county sheriffs are going to respond.

Thank you for your service

It is a very good question now as of yesterday. Today, Orange County went back to their old ways pre-Peruta, so now we will watch Ventura very closely. Hard to say, but of course much better than Los Angeles county.

This, you may want to wait till the recent Peruta issue is resolved
