Here's my Python. Came with inner and outer box's all paperwork and even the hang tag. I wish this one had come with the wood Stocks but it's a factory rubber grip. Feels good in the hand but the wood is classic.

From the Python we go to the Garter Snake.

It's got a vented rib...

Here's mine. Family heirloom as it were. Carried on duty, daily, from 1956-1977 hence the worn off checkering. Serial 2XX

Bought a new camera recently so thought I'd post some better pics of mine. Put the original grips back on too.

Yes- the Python was better quality, fit and finish.

I owned an Anaconda POS and sold it for a S&W 629 Classic DX.

The Anaconda couldn't handle my stout (but safe) handloads without going out of time, the accuracy sucked compared to the Smith, and the finish quality was poor for the $.

recently purchased a 1962 6" blue finish and I sent her off to get a refinish. I only hope that she looks half as good as all of those.

Forgot to mention to everyone here that I got one of these a while back. Not a snake gun, but it was called the "Poor Man's Python". True for me at least haha the search for a Python I can afford continues.

With box, papers, test target. Unfired except by factory.

My first Colt. I've wanted a Python for a long time. They used to call this one the "poor man's Python" haha.

Awesome guns guys. I'm hoping I can find one with a worn finish at a decent price soon.

Here's one I regret selling. An F. Bob Chow tuned Python. It's a digital pic of a printed photo. With Barry Dawson knife.

That is a beautiful set of revolvers, Saigon1965! The Colt Python Snub in royal blue is next on my list of acquisitions.
