Default HELP! .22 WMR pistol or revolver?

I'm starting to look for a .22 WMR & have narrowed it down to a Keltec PMR, Taurus 941, or Charter Arms Pathfinder. I'm hesitant about the Keltec pistol because I don't want to deal with jams that are encountered with pistols, so am leaning much more towards a wheel gun. I appreciate anyone's experience and help! Thanks!

Fourth option...
Ruger Single-Nine

I'd go with either of the last two recommendations. Single nine to plink at longer distances.

That's good news but is it going for over a grand now? I just saw the price of under $400 at my online dealer but it must be pre-craze price then.

What is your primary use for the 22mag? This will help us help you.
God bless, Fred

I love my pmr! I've put approx 700 rds through it with no issues whatsoever! I've used everything from cci maxi mags hp and rn, hornady 30gr v-max, their 45gr ftx, and speer gold dots. I usually stock up on the 45gr ftx (they shoot the most accurate for me, gold dots coming in at a close 2nd, but hard to find....at least in my neck of the woods.)

Going price is approx. a grand, but if you're in law enforcement, you can order directly from kel-tec's LEO department and pay the "LEO price". I got mine shipped to my FFL, dros and everything for $380.

Wifey has a LCR in 22wmr and like the LCR in 357 i got, shoots great with an awesome trigger (for a lil snubbie).

Hmm..if there hasn't been problems, I would consider purchasing it. Do they have 10rds or CA compliant models? Excuse my ignorance but I haven't done much research as you can tell.

Some of the earlier models, especially the ones with the fluted barrels were known to have keyholing issues, but the new ones they come with not are not fluted and i have not experienced any issues with that at all.

As far as i know, i don't think they have a 10rd compliant mag. Maybe they can be pinned to 10rds? But that kinda defeats the purpose of having a 30+1 lightweight pistol

The Kel-Tec PMR-30 is in it's 5th revision and the current revision seems to have fixed the reliability & accuracy issues of the past revisions.

No one makes 10 round magazines for the Kel-Tec PMR-30.
Magazines will need to be permanently altered to 10 rounds for use in CA.
