officer dose not remember 80% of confrontation
Those of us who study violent encounters that result in the use of leathal force a familiar with this effect. But this encounter is now shown on video, and in the article the officer who saw the video for the first time yesterday discusses that he dose not remember much of his fight for his life.

They mention "fog of battle" in the video. I've heard of fog of War before.
Something due to the adrenaline dump, no doubt. That LEO is badazz. Most would retire on disability immediately.

I guess that's why it's mentioned that you will default to your lowest training(?). I once read about a fighter pilot that went up on his first mission and he got a SAM warning. Did exactly as he was trained to do before he was able to think... and survived the ordeal. It's all in the mind and muscle memory of what you've been trained to do (or not do aka freezing).
