22LR Wherefore Art Thou?
Been banging my head trying to find 22LR at a brick n mortar shop and save any hazmat/shipping/bloated costs from the Internet.
Last few weeks I've even tried camping out early at Walmart n Big 5 but I can't justify getting there three-four hours before the stores open to beat the apparently desperate and unemployed guys lol This morning I stopped in first thing at a Walmart and the clerk told me some guy was waiting since 5am and got the only box they had grrrr Any tips out there? Does anyone know the going rate at the OC Fair gunshow? |

I've never seen HAZMAT fees online except when ordering primers.
Get a Cabela's VISA card online. Use the $25 credit for signing up to get free ammo. Earn 2% back for each purchase and 1% back for non-cabela's purchases. Get more free ammo. Use the "3turkey" code till it expires to get everything shipped free, no tax. Right now they have mini-mags up, but they had Federal Automatch 325 packs and CCI AR Tactical 375 packs yesterday. Slickguns.com and the rimfire ammo finds thread here are your friend. Last edited by crufflers; 10-31-2013 at 9:58 AM.. |

Maybe you should consider private party? There are guys on Calguns selling .22 ammo & for good prices & you can get some quantity. I purchased 1600 rounds this weekend of Federal .22 (new) from a P.P. sale, paying around .09/round. I've seen even better prices if you look around. This saves going to Walmart at 5AM to walk away with nothing.
