Spoke with one of their guys today.
They have another shipment of aimpoints coming in this week or next week and they are currently testing a bunch more of the EOTECH 553 that should go up sometime today. Apparently they had 10 in the last batch that look almost brand new as if it never seen the light of day. |

I'm kind of curious why the military is getting rid of them. Everything I've heard about the military is that they use stuff till it breaks. If this is true, then maybe the mil is phasing these out of service? If so I wonder what they're replacing them with.

I don't have the ability to post pics right now, but I received my Aimpoint M2 today from Law-Guns.com and it's great. Glass is clear, knobs work properly, and the electronics seem in good shape. The outside is dinged up, but not as much as I expected. I had bought an Aimpoint rubber cover for the scope, and that covers up most of the body.
The knobs have seen some hard use and much of the anodization has been scraped away, but I think it gives the scope character. Speaking of character, when I took the included Wilcox mount off (pretty beat looking but I don't mind) inside was a light coat of a fine yellow sand/powder. Think this scope had seen service overseas. Mine didn't ship with scope covers, planning on ordering some in a few minutes at Primary Arms. Even with shipping, scope covers, and a rubber body, I've got an Aimpoint M2 for $240 bucks. Not bad at all. |

I ordered mine Thursday after 6pm, and it arrived via USPS today. So, four business days.

Personally I wouldn't touch a war zone scope with tritium inside. No way to tell if it's leaking or not.

Also I just remembered they said they also post the sales notifications on Facebook. I don't do Facebook but if that is your thing that might be a faster way to get the notification them email. Last edited by Rangemaster556; 10-03-2013 at 4:11 AM.. |

Just curious, but I thought the light particles emitted by tritium as the H3 decays is not "strong" enough to penetrate through our bodies. Am I completely wrong, or is your concern exposure to the leaking fluid?

You are correct, by itself it can't do much to our external body. Unless you ate some. lol But if you combine it with oxygen, then the skin can "absorb" it. Last edited by ElComanche; 10-03-2013 at 12:08 PM.. Reason: errrrorr lol |

Does anyone know how long they have these prices for? I want to pick up one of each optic but my priority now is getting as many firearms as possible before the end or year. Next year will be all about the non DROS parts/accessories.
