Nope. I have confirmed with the OP that he is not a vendor. He merely gets a credit if you do what he requests. If you do not wish to help him obtain the credit, don't do as he asks.

Great, so you've been able to verify that the poster(s) are doing this for personal gain ("gets a credit" = personal gain).

As far as I can tell, the intent of the Deals, Sales and Coupons forum is for someone to post a great deal that they found for the benefit of other members, not for their own personal profit.

So now we will end up with repeated threads such as this one, where sleazy wanna-be shoe salesmen continue to try to out-bump each other in order to cash in for themselves. Seems like if the poster's true intent was to let members know of a great deal, they would post a clean link.

If they are posting referral links, they are "profiting" from their posts.... same as a vendor.

They should either have to post a note saying they are using a referral link or post a non-referral link. (Or become a vendor).

Been wearing same Danners for good 2 years at work which is a long time for me. made in US for 60 dollars...some others are Chinese but still nice. The US made ones are better imho.

My son just swore in to the Corps, what boot most closely mimics what he'll be wearing in boot (lol) camp? He wants to start running in boots before he reports back in a few months.
