This is my second version, first one was O.K. in performance and I used a CNC Warrior thread adapter since it was in 5/8" X 24.
Honestly, the only good thing about them is the shroud, which can be bought separately and used on Ebay brake that accepts outer 13/16" X 16 threads. (You would need to cut a space notch for detent locking pin).

14x1lh version (pictured above) is temporary on my rifle till I get SRVV 4 port Jet brake (its in route).
What I have an issue with Kineti-Tech is not their retarded "for American Made AK's ONLY" statement, but their 14x1lh threads, it was beyond loose, wobbly and unsecure till the very end fit, I used quite a bit of plumbing tape on the threads to keep is somewhat tight. 14x1lh should be 14x1lh, it does not matter if it's American 14x1lh or foreign, the threads are the same but obviously they *____ __ up. I won't be buying them again and wasn't worth my time returning it either.
I'm not advising what anyone else should do, I just won't buy them but you might find it to be a better product than I did, who knows maybe the messed up just on my example.
One good thing about this setup is that it's very lightweight.

Here's Ebay's FH/Brake 14x1lh with Kineti-Tech 13/16" X 16 shroud on the left... Kineti-Tech MB with it's shroud on the right.

It's not heavy, can't say right now but feels like 1/3'rd of AK in it's basic form.

Another upgraded/modernized WASR. Super lightweight and very ergonomic.
Sigh... some kids have all the toys...

Will definitely do, just been busy lately (family/kids).

It's their own version of Bulgarian 4 piece muzzle booster/FH, original or Chinese version like this one (- adapter).

A good device even on a rifle for CQB as traditional brake indoors will kill everyone's hearing including yours. For outdoors, there's better brakes out there.

Why a railed handguard if you have the optic over the receiver? Also: awesome chin weld

That (Krebs) handguard only comes as a railed upper/tube cover.
I choose not to use red dot in that location.
Keymod handguard allows the use of forward grip, sling mount, flashlight....all that is obvious in the photo. It also keeps barrel, handguard much cooler without extra rails or weight.
There is no "chin" weld here, adjustable cheek riser not visible in the photo?
BTW, sights like EoTech do not require any weld, it's not a eye relief sensitive scope.

Don't worry about paint, shoot the thing and get some personal character marks and wear on it.

it's got maybe 2-3k through it already; but zero with the ultimak and mm grip and only a handful with the bulgarian brake/fsb

wasn't going to worry about finish until i was all done. at this point i think i'm pretty much all done except maybe a new stock. This is the crappy Tapco stock and i think the arsenal WARSAW length one might be a better fit.

do you know if the krebs lower rail will work with the ultimak or does it need to have the upper rail to attach to?

I like it, makes it easier to operate the charging handle. Not needed by any means but the original handle is a little "pokey", this one is downright comfy.

Though I will say, Loctite and tighten that m-fing screw. I had a little loctite and snugged it down pretty tight and it still managed to work loose. I'd even suggest red loctite(its never been as hard for me to remove as they say). And in the manufacturer's words, "hoss that screw down with a 4" allen wrench", lol.

WW AK-74, wasn't reliable at first (head-space to tight), fixed the issue fairly easy now it's 100%.
