Anyone want to trade a case and a half of this ammo for a 28" 12GA semi auto 3.5" chamber hunting/clay shotgun?

Someone on the brownells website asked if these are brass casings,

"These are bi-metal boxer casings and can be reloaded.
Customer Care from Brownells"

NOPE, only Geco 124g 9mm is bimetal. Geco 115g is not bimetal.
these S&B are not bimetal.. customer service is not expert.

I shot some today.
Nice and clean. Not really 'hot'. About as accurate as my 115g factory loads at 25 yds. Shoots same w/o making adjustments on my rear sight. CZ and SA 1911. Fiocchi is probably hotter.

Very satisfied !

Brownells says these are bimetal. TargtetSports says these have sealed primers. It's not hard (for them) to figure out the correct info

I just tested and these are NOT bi-metal. Copper jacketed lead bullet and a brass case. Used a rare earth magnet and I couldn't get it to attract.

Same, took these to a range that inspects ammo and they magnet tested these (oddly enough I've never had them magnet test my other ammo). This stuff passed.

This sale has been going on for too long. I wish these would go OOS already! I cant afford anymore. Need to save for the 40cal.

I got 1k of this when the sale started. Then I was going to buy 1k reman Freedom, similar price, just to have different 9mm ammo. Now I'm wondering if I should just get another 1k of this.

Also (my lack of experience) I'm curious about Mem/4th/Labor sales...anything much better to be expected or are sales usually about the same type of prices +/- couple bucks?

Reaper, Its hard to predict about sales. Seems like lately ammo sales have been happening randomly and in a competitive manner.
But, based on my notes, the last 2 yrs, the veteran's day sales in November were better. Again, unpredictable now since its a new era.

I also was considering FM 124G 9mm but new. But I already have a bunch of FM 115 so I chose the S&B for an added menu variety. Your call.
The S&B is probably a bit cleaner on average.

Thanks for the input, helpful.

Being newer into the sport, I don't know much and I'm willing to try different ammo to get experience. Ultimately my goal is to purchase throughout the remainder of this year (not last minute in Dec).

I'm disappointed CA won't allow ammo mail order next year, I'm guessing there's a lawsuit somewhere in the works. Off the shelf ammo is SO EXPENSIVE!

Yup, they raised the price of the ammo......used to be $209 before discounts/free ship. Now it's $249 before discounts/free ship

This has gone on and off sale several times. Keep an eye on it and it may go back on sale.

Dang, I was gonna buy another 1k tonight when I got home.

I like the idea of .17-.18 per round 9mm ammo.

Snooze = lose
