Looks as if a plea agreement for a misdemeanor charge isn't going to be an option there.

I'm guessing the ACLU doesn't have a branch office down there.

Wheels of Justice move a bit faster there.

Seems like the idea of medical care for bad guys isn't on the list of priorities
either.
It's a hard life! (I assume the robbers did not recover from their wounds)

Wow is right. Instant justice. I wonder how many rounds by the police? Not as many as US I'm sure.

Notice the weaver stance.

And, must've been 45 Acp.

But seriously, wow. And they shot thru glass.

I wonder if the police were just patrolling the area or if they received a call of the robbery (and still would have had to be right around the corner.).

My guess would have been that they were in the right place at the right time to witness those thugs go into the store. Or, if they were on a spree and they were following them from a previous robbery.

Either way, swift justice. Interesting reaction by the dude in black. Almost a non reaction at first until he goes down.

I was told years ago that prison in Brazil is hell on earth.

Some cells hold 300 prisoners.

A trough of food is dropped off and the inmates decide who gets to eat what or if at all...

The cell can drop off a body by the cell door for collection.

They hose through the cell door and anyone who wants to "shower"'can come forward and get hosed off...

Many who have gone prefer to fight to the death so they don't have to return.

Did you notice those officers were wearing Berets and had a leather arm band on their upper right arm?

Those guys were "B.O.P.E."

Google it!

I noticed people were wearing sweatshirts and long thick jackets. Temp must have been in the low 80's there in Brazil.

Why couldn't they just ask them to put the gun down? Politely and all. Or aim for the feet so they can't run away or shoot the gun out of their hands so they can give up? I just don't understand.

I swear that cop at the very end is ordering a pizza.

someone mentioned heavy clothing ...
the police are wearing very large flak jacket military style / bullet proof vests that extend below their belt.

which tells me they were very prepared for this robbery.
In other words it was a sting or set up.
that pizza joint probably got robbed a lot.

Outstanding. I particularly like the gut shot on the guy in the yellow helmet. The one that plugged him after he was down. Looks like it caught him in the abdomen and blew out some blood right away.

I'm surprised they didn't roll over the one with the gun and secure it in case he wasn't dead or unconscious.

Because that's what wussy nations do (ahem, like Kommiefornia). They played a stupid game, they lost. No sympathy for criminals.

looks like, as someone else mentioned, they didn't run into regular police. They're military police that enforce civilian law... sorta their swat.

looking at their org's list of mandates on wikipedia; I didn't see arresting suspects. Just things like eliminating threats and protecting innocent civilian life.

Hope you are joking!

If you want to commit an armed robbery, you put lives in harms way.
You get what you deserve.

Yup, just two poor 'ol boys gunned down in their prime just trying to make a (dis)honest buck (or peso or real or whatever the currency is in Brazil).

The only sad parts to this whole video are: two people decided instead of being productive citizens to use force/fear to victimize their fellow citizens and now the cops/victims have to deal with the aftermath of their actions.

Brazil is half a continent btw.
Yeah. The bike helmet thing is most common. Conceal face. Fast get away. Two dudes on a bike. Effective. But they must have been in a bad Favela. I have good friends that are federal police in Sao Paolo and Rio. They don't ever kit up in those Frankenstein jackets.
Looks like they both took 4-5 rounds each.

Not true..... They were shooting for the knees and are terrible marksmen. Also, guns are really hard to shoot out of their hands so you just keep chooting at the gun till it falls out.
