And a photo below. This one is FDE color. Really good quality and Thordo ships right away. Good people.

Not anymore. ^^^^ those were part of the Federal Assault Weapons ban that expired in 2004.

The 2nd Thordsen build

This is a Spikes Tactical build I just finished today. Exile Machine grip.

Love the ACE fixed stock. Rock solid.

the questions are : is you comfortable and what's your grouping? Can you still fire fast and accurate or do you suggest practice with these stocks more?

See some nice ones. I am going the Solartactical route. Anyone else know of anything else aside from that and homemade? I have an MMG, but it doesn't look like it will fit (gap).

Was used on my AK, and looks to have been cut to fit.

I really like that. I've been looking for a U15 for a long time now. Finally someone came up with another option
I just might have to build a second AR noe and go featureless....

Thanks

What SS said... You get mixed reactions & comments but if you bring your skills & show it works just as good as any other the comments go away!
Oh, BTW.... Sweet builds everyone!!

IME Only..I've taken it out of state to compete and take classes. There are 2 reactions:

1. Some will make sly remarks about your rifle and the state. These generally are the "Gun Collectors" and concentrate on Form.

2. Some are curious and ask you how it changes the handling and then realize that it doesn't make much difference when you're shooting better than they are. These generally tend to be the "Shooters" and concentrate on Function.

Exclamation Let's see you Evil I mean Featureless Builds

I got the idea after seeing a few threads lately asking about Featureless Builds. So what else is better then seeing what all is out there, feel free to post up specs if you'd like.

Here is my favorite AR I have had so far, started off with this Lower and a LWRC M6A2 GPU and I also had a Dedicated .22LR that I sold in the last month or so

Sun Devil Lower
RRA LPK
Magpul CTR Pinned
Magpul MIAD w/ very homemade Fin
VM Hy-Tec Mag Block w/ 32 Round Uzi Mag
RRA 9mm Buffer

Spike's Tactical 9mm Upper with CMMG Ramped Bolt
Spike's Tactical Carbine Rail
Spike's Tactical Fake Can
Magpul XTM Panel Covers
AimPoint Clone (Holds 0 just fine for 9mm)

That homemade fin looks well *ahem* homemade. Nice rifle either way. The solar tactical grip is the only way to go if your going featureless IMO. Very nice setup fourXfour!

Nice rifle fourxfour, thanks for posting your featureless build

Yeah I know it looks a little different, but I did it myself and it cost me a total of 50 cents I will be ordering a custom FDE Solar Tactical Grip soon enough. I also made m Fin before duraglock ever posted his grip idea, I stole the fin idea from another member that went with a metal fin.

Thanks for the positive feedback on my 9mm AR. It should not matter how it looks, but how it shoots. So far 130 down range with no problems, so yeah I like my ugly homemade Fin At least I can do this when not at a monitored range Oh yeah 33 rounds of pure joy
