I saw on the local store web site tonight that they had posted this in stock and I am fighting so hard not to just throw down a credit card in the AM.

Just picked up a Henry 22 last week. Just got the regular one instead of the golden boy.

Kindda eyeing the Henry AR7 survival rifle.

Another 10/22. I promise to keep this one just like it comes from the factory.

I am looking all over for a "vintage" .22 pump. I had one when I was 16 (my dad gave it to me). Loved that rifle because it would eat .22 shorts, .22 long or .22 LR... I made the mistake of "loaning" it back to my dad so that he could shoot varmints on his property in Sonoma County, and he "forgot" to return it when he retired and moved to Texas.... He says that he left it to me in his will but I am not holding my breath.....

I'm just looking for anything I consider cool. I'm trying to focus my attention on a nice, accurate bolt .22lr to challenge me to improve my accuracy.

But I'm too often an impulsive buyer.

Yeah, right.

I want a 10/22, and I promise not to keep it stock. I will only use the factory receiver because I want to make it a 17 HM2. I'm thinking a VQ 17 HM2 bolt, and a KIDD single stage trigger but I'm not sure what barrel I want to use. I still haven't decided about the stock, either.

I've been looking at CMMG .22LR conversion bolts, dedicated .22 uppers, and SIG 522's... anyone see any SIG 522's around lately? I did find an Advantage Arms 17-22 kit for my Glock this week

Non .22 wise, I am liking the SIG P238 - even for the prices they go for now. With night sights and the nice single-action design and trigger it compares really well to an expensive SSE Ruger LCP.
