Default Turner's Lake Forest

So I noticed on Turner's store locator, that there is a location and an opening date for the Turner's in Lake Forest. Opening July 15th, at 23762-A Mercury Road, next to a Boot Barn. I drove by it and there's nothing indicating that a Turner's would be there. No signage at all. July 15th is not that far away. Anyone have any details about if it's going to open on that date and if there will be any deals available?

Default Turner's Lake Forest

Nice, about ten minutes away rather than having to drive to Orange

I just drove by and looking in the widow it's almost ready to go. It's going to be next to Boot Barn, in the same building.

I saw a gal playing with her phone out front so I turned on Pokemon Go and caught one!

Today's their soft opening...the grand opening will be in a couple of weeks.

Pretty much half the store is fishing, the other half is guns and related items. There's a small 5-11 display up front. Lots of guns in the display/gun counter. The gun counter is larger than the one at Orange.

Not sure what I was expecting, but I was a bit underwhelmed.

I may have some non magnetic if you need it. PM me. I passed by today I forgot to stop seems I didn't miss anything. I doubt I'll go to grand opening usually the lines aren't worth it to me.

I went and camped overnight, ended up around 20th in line. Made a lot of financial mistakes, decent deals though. Staff were pretty efficient, especially with the amount of people there.

What do you mean, spent too much on the sales? What was your total wait time including overnight, time to dros and time to pay and pickup time?

They gave you the option to purchase up to 2 guns, plus the mystery gun (M&P Sport II). I originally planned to buy just the $99 Ruger 10/22 and maybe a handgun or the mystery gun... had very convincing neighbors (or salesmen) in line, walked out with the Ruger 10/22, Kimber Custom II, M&P Sport II, DD M4V11 upper + scope combo, and 500 rounds of 5.56...

And the same day I found somebody selling a DD complete lower, now I kind of regret buying so much and have to decide whether or not to sell the M&P or Kimber.

Got there around 7pm to camp out, they started handing out tickets + coffee and donuts at 7am, opened the doors at 8am, I was around 20th in line and I finished grabbing all my ammo/items and DROS + checkout for all three guns by 8:30-45.

So probably around 14 hours waiting will be total once all done. You were willing to do that to possibly only save $100 on a 10/22 and no other guns? If you're financially able to I would keep everything to justify the wait time and due to impending laws if you are going to remain in CA. Unless some are duplicates.

That is another reason I don't do these sales usually they are guns I don't want or need or already own or close equivalents. I actually have a flexible schedule where I could. Only once or twice was I slightly tempted.

If it was a line during the day where I'd have to take time off / make time specifically to go, I wouldn't wait for it either, but what's a few hours of hanging out at night, and then sleeping/camping in line? We ended up getting food, some guys brought a projector and we watched a movie, and some people were playing poker too.

Otherwise, I would've just been sleeping. Ended up supposedly "saving" $1600 in total though...
