Default FS: Sidecar rig

The best of both worlds.

2002 BMW K1200LT-E with Hannigan 2+2 side car. It is a two seater sidecar. Has two seatbelts, cup holder, electric fan, removeable top for sunny days. Comes with a huge trunk for your SO's packing needs.

Sidecar is setup with electric camber adjustment to adjust for weight, road crown and speed. This feature will allow the rig to track straight.

New this rig would cost over $30,000. You can have it for $16,750.

Bike has:

30K miles
Garmin BMW Navigator I GPS
CB
Intercom
6 CD changer
Cruise control
Heated seats
Heated grips
Power windshield
Motolight, caliper mounted auxiliary lights
Ducati Design headlight conversion for better lighting
Stock headlight assembly included

Forgot to mention that the sidecar can be disconnected in 20 minutes and the bike can be ridden as a regular motorcycle.

Great way for a family of four to have fun.

I was going to ask why do the sidecar thing when you could just drive a car but then I read your second post where the bike can be detached. Nice.

whoa.. family of four? you can fit four in there?

Dang... I thought you might be selling a cheap sidecar that I could bolt on my yamaha xs650 when i clicked on the link....

That BMW is wayyyy nicer than I can afford right now.

Absolutly beautiful bike though, and a great deal for someone who is serious about roadtrips or wants to save gas on commuting.

Thanks guys. It is a great bike and gets 28 mpg at 72 mph with the sidecar. Without sidecar it gets 44 mpg at 72 mph and will see 53-56 mpg at higher elevations or if you keep the speeds down around 55-60 mph.

This is my 4th K1200LT. This one just happens to have a sidecar with it.
