Default $575 SS80 G43 Buy

With 80% handgun builds effectively getting screwed July 1, 2018, and based on the success of the Sig group buy, I wanted to organize a buy for those Gaston lovers. The SS80 (G43) kit would be $575 OTD.

To order contact Chris with F&F at fnffirearms@gmail.com or call or text at (714) 293-2273. Keep in mind he has the parts kits in stock, but can't ship the packages until the 23rd when the SS80 arrives.

This group buy pre-order will close the end of April

The package would include:
  • SS80 Frame
  • Glock LPK
  • Complete Slide
  • 2 Magazines
  • Case
  • Lock

The SS80 frames are not shipping until April 17 end of Arpil-beginning of May, so the packages couldn't ship until after that, but wanted to get this on peoples radar.

Update 1 - 4/19/2018
The release of the SS80 frame was pushed back again by GS until the end of April-beginning of May. Therefore orders will not ship until the SS80 frames ships.

Picture is everything included except the SS80 frame.

Somehow I get the feeling that this is going to be a bit more popular than the group buys for 80% Glock 17s and Sig 320s....

Thank you for organizing, OP!

You're killing me man! lol

The SS80 has the metal plate for engraving, right? Is the process similar to the polymer 80 frames?

Yes it does. But come July 1st it won't be 3.7 ounces so it won't be legal.

All parts, except frame, are Glock factory parts including the slide? Same issue for me as JB above.

For anyone that pre-ordered the frame, just the completion parts kit can be provided for $475.

It would have been built prior to the requirement for the 3.7 ounce stainless steel requirement which goes into effect July 1, 2018.

Thank you for clarifying this, I have seen the add ons to 80ar builds...from nothing needed to serial number and build info regardless of build date... will serial number engraving be a add on option or is it required?

Might be a massively stupid question, but I am not well versed enough to read the idiotic wording. If someone were to build a G43 "clone" with this kit, can it be added to a CCW permit? Or is it a scary ghost gun, like De Leon talks about?

Awesome just sent email. Quick question, I only know AR regs. Would this need to be engraved with a custom serial made up by me or DOJ registered?

Shipping is included I know. I'm not sure how long the price is valid for, but i am sure as long as people are ordering he will honor the price. If you need a hard date I would reach out to him.

Yes it will need to engraved, but if you do it prior to July 1, 2018 you can choose the serial. Please confirm all of this because IANAL.

why not just add engraving service from Chris? I believe it's $45.

Does the SS80 come with an embedded plate? I can't seem to find any pictures of the underside on google.

edit: this was answered earlier in the thread, it does have a plate.

edit: I'm still trying to price things out. I plan on replacing the slide stop, mag release and trigger so I'm wondering if it's cheaper to buy the complete slide instead of slide + lower parts kit.
