Default CCW and Off Roster

in Calif, can you legally use an off roster gun as your carry gun? Thinking of buying a Sig 365 from a private party and want to include it as one of my carry guns.

Legally, yes.

Some Issuing Agencies have a different idea, and their Iron Whim is legal.

There is no value at all complaining or analyzing or reading tea leaves to decide what these bills really mean or actually do; any bill with a chance to pass will be bad for gun owners.

Depends on your IA.

Yes, if your particular IA allows it. I’m not aware of any that don’t.

All of mine are off-roster. Kimber Micro Bel Air, Sig P365, Springfield XDS & Glock Gen 4.
No problem.

Until I replaced with it something else, I had a customized 1911 on my permit. The training provider was only interested in safe function.

Murrieta PD issued my CCW.
