Wow that looks great!
What kind of stock did you start out with? Can you post a picture of the mounting hole for the pistol grip?

I have one of those, longer barrel though. Guess I'll have to take some pics when I get home.

coyotebait, your Model 11 is much nicer then mine, I just finished rebluing it so now it is a "3 foot" gun (looks good from 3 feet away) instead if a "10 foot" gun, but for $75 bucks what can I expect? lol. As soon as it is sunny out again I will get some new pics.

They definitely get your attention when shooting them, that "flipping" around they do, not as smooth as a new 1187 but tons of fun and lot's of looks at the range. Me and a buddy both have the lever's (model 87's) we took them to Oak Tree a couple years ago, couldn't hit anything (we load the shells for them light) but boy did we get some looks.

Started with the plain 870 furniture to mount it I used the same hoLe already in the stock just bought a smaller bolt and recessed the hole with my dremmel ill post a pic when I'm home. I may try to figure a way to hide the bolt head but black paint hides it pretty good for now |

I started with a plain Mossberg 500. Added stuff. Subtracted stuff. Tried to get all tacticool (top). Then I saw someone's wood furniture and went "old school" (bottom).
Still to do: strip, stain and oil, then add a leather sling.

Please ignore the [CZ] carbine [7.62 X 39]. Next down is a 30th Anniversary Wingmaster wearing a Mossberg-made, blued 870 18.5" security barrel. Bottom is a similar-vintage S&W Model 3000; it's barrel is 30" w/ an integral full choke. |
