Default AR pistol on Sac CCW?

Thinking about a 556 pistol on my permit.
Anyone done this?

Many people have thought about it. I haven’t heard of anyone getting approved. I asked my IA and the guy smiled and said no. It’s California what do you expect. The only person who will give you straight answer is your IA.

Can you put a RAW pistol? It would be a little easier to change mags with a BB.

I recall a semi-recent post either in OC or Riverside where a calgunner tried the same thing and got read the riot act by the IA.

Not really.

RAW can only be legally possessed in specific authorized locations and transported directly to & from those locations. [PC 30945]
^There is no CCW exemptions to this.
