Just got home after leaving today at sundown spent two days of fun with great like minded people. Here's the few pics I took, I was too busy shooting other devices...

From the middle of the line looking west:

Thanks to all, for hosting an AWESOME AND VERY FUN EVENT!

Now if only my guns could clean themselves! LOL!

Thanks to all the volunteers and donors. Bailey and Brody my yellow labs had a great time and I got some good range time with my new SSE Glock 29 and and SA Range Officer 45, officially the most accurate pistol in my armory. Oh, and I will be using my Hopps bore snake kit raffle prize tomorrow. Short trip for me but well worth the one-day turnaround. Thanks Calgunners!

Remember, the only way to kill a zombie is a head shot!

I think this one is sufficiently perforated!

Had an absolute blast handing out the swag to our amazing calguns family!

Already had six people ask me when the next one is..... oh boy

Mosin Madness rocked - light up that sky

Gonna relax and then get up and get some range time in the morning

The kids and I had a great time out there today. This was my 5 yo sons first time ever shooting. Couldn't have picked a better a way to pass the torch than killing zombies.

And to the guy I helped in the yellow dune buggy, I hope repairing the rear wheel isn't near as bad as it looked like it was gonna be. Good luck.

Once again my father in law and I had a great time. Thank you mrlonewolf for setting up this fantastic community event, and thank you to the RSO's and volunteers that make this happen safely.
Here are some stats from over the weekend for those that find this kind of thing interesting. I had my Ubiquiti UniFi WiFi access point up at the center of the firing line from 0900 fri morning till approx 1000 sun morning allowing anyone that wanted it, free WiFi access.

We had a total of 93 clients connect to the AP for the weekend
At one point, 1300 Sat, we had 43 connected simultaneously with 529 MB used during that time
Total of 5.94 GB downloaded for the weekend
Total of 1.67 GB uploaded for the weekend
Most active client was online for 1 day 2 min 51 sec and had 440MB down, 48.6MB up

I will try and source a better internet connection and tweak my equipment to get a better overall experience for the next shoot.
It was a BLAST

This was our 3rd time out and the best IMO. We were 'Thomas' and 'Paolo' if we ever introduced ourselves. I'm really bad with names and even if you told me, I lost the connection between your real name and CGN screenname.

Thank you Lone Wolf, Andrew, and all the the moderators / chefs / safety personnel for making this such a beautiful event.

Thank you Don (bladerunner1955) for the shade and help with everything.

Thanks Juan for letting me borrow your tools.

Sorry to the campers we woke up when we decided to off-road at midnight to Calico. We were on the very edge of the camp so hopefully noone was disturbed.

What road did you take to calico? We made it to doran on the quads but it was so washed out we didn't think all of us could make it back up

Never made it, we were about to get there when we hit a part there was no way my FJ Cruiser was going to make it down.. After that we tried to find another more truck-friendly route. We got lost a lot and spent an hour or two navigating on a low reception cell phone GPS haha.

We were on Wall St Canyon Trail and took the other road to the right of it as well. Those trails are extremely rocky and there's a couple bad drops. The last trail we found looked like a one for quads but the FJ barely just fit, scratched a couple times lol. Then there was a drop-off like it was a part of a dried up river and we gave up.

We saw old red-brick ruins, weird something would be built there. Couple set of eyes, not sure if rabbits or yotes, said **** that and left.

Headed home now. Very sunburnt and looking forward to a good shower.

Can't wait until next time.

Thanks again to everyone who volunteered their services to make this event happen.

Pics coming later tonight.

with the jeep crew we usually crawl and smash our way in and out of every one if those trails but a quad doesn't like to climb large ledges

We did about 10 different routes but none were quad friendly all the way to calico. We found an old miners house made from rock and concrete, some awesome mines, and even though we didn't make calico we had a good ride. The weather was perfect.

Thanks to all the vendors for their support, thanks to the calgun mods that put this together, thanks to the guy that brought the amazing grill, thanks to everyone for the amazing pot luck, thanks to the calgun net who offered to buy me the tarp, thanks to those who let me try out their guns, and thanks to anyone else I forgot to mention. It was a fun weekend.

Side note, if anyone knows a good source to fix my broken car window, please pm me the details

Check with your insurance company; depending on your coverage and deductible, it might be best to go through them. <-- especially considering you were broken into and suffered a loss.
