Thanks, and the scar is a real shooter! I heard 1 MOA with FGMM and good shooting but I shot a .8 5 shoot group with bad shooting. The Scar did not feel like an AR to me and I need to get familiar with the recoil and positioning. I was also messing around with the scope a lot because I had a lot of eye relief and had a hard time getting back into position. I think with a good shooter and the right ammo, 1/2 MOA is possible.

Im sure with custom loads and a good shooter 1/2in groups are doable

Best I ever got was 1moa, and that was with FGMM and that was with a comp M4 and LaRue 2.5x mag. I should also point out Im blind (well, not really) and a terrible shot, so no complaints here at all.

i agree 100% with the stock but the Scar is unique not ugly. I remember the guy arguing in a thread with how cheap the ACR stock is vs the Scar but in reality the Scar stock feels like it belongs on an airsoft rifle. I would put the ACR stock on the Scar in a heartbeat because it is built tough, the Scar shaved weight by going cheap on that stock.

I purchased the entire rifle.

I bought it from an out of state seller, so the upper went to my FFL (the upper is the part with the serial). The rest of the parts went directly to me.

I have to start my DROS tomorrow, so 11 more days 'til I can shoot it.

Gives you time to get a BB and stock block (you can use a cut down .223 case over the release button spring).

Hehe my bad ironclash...I sold my xps2-0 for this acog. Anybody else have the ecos that has the right side illumination is rather funky? I think it's my astigmatism cause the one ammobro has looked the same to me.

Good start here (lower being the hardest). I might do the same since I already have an ACR and wanted a SCAR badly as well.

Not really. Micro Aimpoint is measured in ounces, That's a mini Surefire, the DBAL is one of the smaller IR units out there and the suppressor is Titanium.
I've also shortened the barrel.

It was 9-10ish last I weighed without ammo or suppressor.

How short is the barrel now. And can you post some pic of it without the suppressor?

I wish the SCAR stock didn't look like the Elephant man's leg. Looks comfortable to shoot for sure, but still kinda goofy ya know? Wheres the aftermarket? No offense to SCAR guys, I can't wait to shoot one and I realize that form follows function just my 2c. BTW I saw a black SCAR down at PRK arms the other day. Love at first sight, even with a funky stock!

well believe it or not you cant see it when you are shooting it.

IIRC VLTOR (or was it tango down?) had a prototype of a M4 style stock adapter, but I havent heard anything as far as it reaching production.

But yes, the stock is plenty comfy. Thought I wouldnt mind seeing a stock adapter, so I could easily swap out the OEM one for a fixed one to switch to a featureless config

Perhaps, you can't see it while shooting, but what about the ladies at the mall? I may be shunned by the other ninjas. One might have to attach 3 or 4 accessories (I'm thinking multiple flashlights) to bring it back up to standards.
