Default CaPRC Centerfire Match at Angeles EAGLES NEST - April 7, 2013

As I am sure you are aware, Sunday, April 7, 2013 is the day of Paris-Roubaix:

Paris-Roubaix is no ordinary bicycle race. It's raced over the ancient, mythic, and very slippery cobblestones of Northern France:

For those of you who will not be racing Paris-Roubaix, CaPRC will have something special going on on April 7th as well.

The California Precision Rifle Club is proud to announce the April centerfire match will be Sunday April 7th at the Angeles Ranges EAGLES NEST RANGE.
For details about the Angeles Ranges, see their website: http://www.angelesranges.com

Signups start at 7:00am and shooting should start at 8:15am when the line goes hot.
Please arrive at the Eagles Nest no later than 7:30am to sign-in and get assigned your shooter numbers.
The Eagles Nest is to the west of the regular rifle line, up the hill to your right after you pass Moore & Moore.

Match fee is $20 for Caprc members or $30 for non members.
We shhould finish by 1pm.
Bring 70 rounds of match grade ammo.
Be prepared to shoot as close as 50yds and as far as 700yds.
Be prepared to shoot from standing, kneeling, seated, prone and other improvised postions.
Bring a backpack to shoot off of for stages that don't allow a bipod.

This match is open to bolt action and semi-auto rifles from 223 up through 308.
A velocity limit of 3100 fps will be in effect to reduce damage to club-owned steel targets.
Bipods, slings, shooting mats and rear bags are allowed and recommended.
Chamber flags are mandatory and are available from the club if needed.

RSVPs are not yet open. CaPRC member RSVPs will be accepted on 04/01/13. Non-member RSVPs will open on 04/03/13. The reason RSVPs do not open well in advance is because people's schedules firm up as the date approaches. However, we try to announce matches and clinics as early as possible so that people have time to clear their schedules if they wish to attend.

At the appropriate time, you can RSVP here:
