There are a number of Calguns members who are also members of Rainbow Shooting Range, as it's officially called, myself included. I've been one for 10yrs. and presently, 4 of my grandkids are associate members (which is a really neat deal they have, but it keeps going up as does the membership fee. It's small and the rifle range is only 100yrds. and uphill, but it's conveniently close and really the only game in town for those of us in SW Riverside County.

If you are going out ......
Please , bring a few plastic bags for some trash

Every little bit helps

It can be dumped at the trash bins just West of the entrance to Cranston Ranger station

We were at Bee Canyon yesterday to do some plinking had a great day Road condition not bad for Trucks small cars no so good. The Canyons are starting to get heavier use and the Trash is starting to pie up what a difference in one week. We hauled out what we could hopefully others will do the same.

I went on the 14th but not to deep just pulled over where the first shooting area was and shot. Low cars/ sedans not recommended. There was shells everywhere. I made a pile but didnít pick up cuz I had no bags.

Here's the problem with that
You pile up the trash without bagging it up
Then ( as I have been told by another Ranger ) A District Ranger drives by and sees the Pile , He thinks " Maybe we should shut this place down . People are dumping out here now ..............

OR

From Years of being out there in the Canyons
One small pile will grow into a Dump Pile ..... as people will think , This is the place to dump trash

It is already happening in Canyon # 3...........
Guy from Perris came out to " Rake " some stuff up ... Did not take any
Now the pile is Growing !!!!!!

How about chaining some steel drums to heavy steel stakes for trash cans? I could build it all.

Good intentions,
But
They would be shot up in no time......
I used to place signs I had made up after a clean-up saying
" This canyon cleaned by Cal Guns , Help keep it clean "

I would go back a few days later and they would be Swiss cheese,,,,,,,,
