Default Umarex Trevox Pistol - Broke

Quick report on my Umarex Trevox. I bought it a couple years ago for plinking and close-range pest control. Although I didn't like the trigger much, it was accurate -- able to ring a small airgun spinner from 30+ yards if I did my part. However, it gave up the ghost last week. I went to cock it and it required almost no cocking effort. I thought I had left it cocked (highly unusual) but there was no pellet inside the barrel (again, very strange). I took aim at the target and pressed the trigger. Rather than slamming forward, the piston just did a series of small jumps forward, sounding like it was just passing gas. The pellet could not even get out of the breech. I'm not much of an airgun smith so once I took the main screws out to inspect the innards, a small pin, a spring & a screw just fell out on the table. Oh well.

The gun is cheap ($70 or so, I think) & I probably put well over 1k shots through it. I'd say it was worth it. But I probably won't buy it again.
