Default Help me pick a scope!!

Just bought a tikka t3x hunter in .300 win mag n now looking for glass...gonna be my go to elk, muley rifle. Weight isn't that big of an issue but like to keep it lower if possible...I like the 2-10 or 12 range for those close to 400yrd shots...I can't decide!! Lol

All are fairly close in price besides the leica (non illuminated is right with the others).

Here's what I'm looking at:

Trijicon accupoint 3-9x40
https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/produ...php?pid=TR20-2

Swarovski Z3 3-10x42
http://www.swarovskioptik.com/huntin...l-brx-p5006168

Leica ER I 2.5-10x42
https://www.amazon.com/Leica-2-5-10x.../dp/B00IDIRYC8

Vortex razor HD LH 3-15x42
https://www.amazon.com/Razor-3-15x42.../dp/B019ZUCFP8

You're better of with a $400 .308 unless you plan on taking out taliban from 2000 yards away haha

With crystal clear glass, durability and 100% lifetime no fault warranty with no questions asked... Vortex is a no brainer.

It is a hunting rifle so Leupold is the only choice.
VX3i 3.5-10X40 Duplex reticle, Non-AO would be my choice. If you want illuminated then Leupold makes that also---next choice rijicon

Sorry but it is a big mistake to not have it in your list

I really like Vortex for target scopes, but I feel Swarovski has the edge in the high end hunting market. That said I haven't seen either one of these in person.

Swarovski makes some pretty awesome stuff but you generally pay though the nose for it... I would need to do a direct comparison with the Razor before making that decision. Generally speaking I would expect Vortex to be a better value considering the price is about the same.

I know Leica is a solid name in optics but I think my want for their products stops at their cameras, lenses, and LRF.

I dont think you would find many on this forum who have experience with Leica / Swaro... you really are better off asking this question on a forum with a larger concentration of hunters, or trying to get behind these scopes in person.

Edit: Zeiss is also worth looking at.. their optics agree with my eyes as well.
