RESULTS AAR
June 25 Tactical Challenge AAR
We had 12 shooters show up for the event, it was structured similar the March match where we hiked into the canyon to fire the first station and worked our way out firing from various points along the way. There were stages that required us to fire from all the standard positions (standing, setting, prone) as well as a couple of “improvised” stages where the shooter had to figure out the best way for him to build a shooting position, we finished the match with a 600 yard mover stage where the shooter had only one pass of the moving target to fire as many shots possible. The stages proved challenging to all as can be seen by the actual scores VS the possible scores. Speaking of scores they were very close, in fact 2nd through 4th place needed to be settled by a “dot drill” shoot off at the 100 yard line. I’d like to thank Randy, Jeff, John and Al for helping to set up and break down after the match and a special thanks to Paul for taking time out from the fun to shoot pictures throughout the day. The next match is scheduled for Saturday September 24th, I’m planning something different for that event, hope to see you there. Best regards, Gary Eliseo 1) Gary Eliseo 9-4x Gold $40 2) Jeff Mendoza 9-0x Silver $30 * (shoot off) 3) Randy Teissedre 9-0x Bronze $20* (shoot off) 4) Gary Fowler 8-1x $10* (shoot off) 5) Allen Thomas 8-1x 6) Al Morita 6-2x 7) Martin Tardif 6-1x Mark La Fevers 6-1x 9) Paul Hern 5-1x 10) Alex Levy 4-1x 11) John Giles 4-0x 12) Vlad Sanda 2-0x Possible score 17 points I'll be posting pics as soon as they are available |
