Default Reliance 7 Gallon Rigid Water Container $13.08 and Prime

Reliance 7 Gallon Rigid Water Container $13.08 and Prime[/URL]

***lower price***

I have a couple of these and they are great. I take them camping because they hold 7 gallons, are sturdy and they have a good spout that is under the cap. I keep two of these on a shelf at my in-laws so they can get to water in case of an earthquake.

Price as of 11/13

if you have a Winco nearby, this is $7 (don't know the thickness, not stackable, additional $1.xx for a cheap valve).

The spout they come with, is it kinda like gas can necks, where you take the cap off, flip it over, put cap back on to use?

Unless they changed the design from a couple years ago, yes they have the spout on the inside of the cap. Hope this helps.

Not good for long term use. After about six months the seams just kind of go away.

I read through a lot of the reviews on Amazon and came to the conclusion that these aren't made nearly as sturdy as they used to be.

I went with the 5 gallon Scepter cans instead. Reviews are much more positive overall, they are $20 with Prime shipping, and compatible with EZ Pour spouts.

I just store 40-packs of water in their own plastic bottles from Costco....why do you need a huge container?

I have one but I only use it as a catch can for the sink on my pop up trailer. Works great for that

I looked at the reviews too, and they apparently suck now. I just bought some of the 5 gallon American made ones also posted here in deals on page one. 7 bucks shipped.

BTW, they don't suck. I use my to store water (going on 4 years now) and I take them camping. No issues.

I've had mine for years. Keep them full for emergencies and use them camping. Never had a problem.

YES THEY DO SUCK. Why don't you read the reviews, the design changed recently and all new products sold have thinner walls and durability issues!
