So we don't need to get on any list just call A.F. and mention the CG G.B. and they will take it from there?

Looking for a FFL in the IE that will handle this for a decent price? Is it true FFLs are charging tax now?

I've been quoted 7-10 days. i'll give a new update to start ordering at will.

Yup , it was a shock to me too. I forget where the tax law is , but out of state gun purchases are subject to tax, unlike other products.

If you are buying a Saiga in this group buy, I will do a special transfer fee of $50, a $15 discount from my usual $65 for this buy only. Just tell Atlantic that you want it shipped to me. $25 DROS and 8.25% Sales tax on the entire invoice will apply.

Please let me know or stop by so I know what to expect.

they are out there (not just that dealer)... but when you mention it, the tax police on this forum get their panties in a bundle... there was a thread last week about it (without FFL names mentioned)...

I'm purposely not quoting the post you quoted so the forum tax nazis dont create drama... and I hope no one else quotes that particular post - even though it's a non issue, there are people that will try to make it one.

So this is for a Saiga 12 without the side rail that allows you to attach a scope mount?

Caveat Emptor!

When they get audited and stuck with your sales tax bill, they will likely blow up your phone to come pay it.

Sales tax is almost as inevitable as income tax. Pay your $40 and save the headache later.

Just sayin'

dj , the new Saiga 12 will not have a provision for mounting a scope

Invictus , we do expect the Vepr 762 x 54R rifles early Jan 2012 do not know prices at this time but they will be lower than in the past due to a better contract with the Russians.

Meh scope mount rails are easy to install anyway. 3 whopping rivets and holes. Much easier than a conversion.

Curious how big of a shipment you are receiving? Or is it a race for a few?
