Default Anyone else pick up a Kimber Solo yet?

Picked mine up a week ago. Great looking little gun. Pictures don't do it justice. Reset is a little longer than I had hope it would be but it's nothing I can't get used to.

Put 150 rounds of Winchester Ranger 124. Only malfunctions I experienced is when I loaded 6 + 1. Every time. The spring I the magazine is pretty heavy, I'm sure that's the problem. I ordered two spare mags but I'm not very hopeful. Looks like I'll be running 5 + 1.

Gun is very accurate. No problem putting rounds on the X from 15 yards. But the gun kicks quite a bit with the Ranger +p+ and can get away from you pretty quick. I wish I had picked up a couple different boxes of various 124 and 147 to compare.

My only complaint other than not being able to load 6 + 1, is the smooth front and back strap. A little extra friction on a gun this small would be nice. I don't want to ugly it up with grip tape so I'm thinking I may have someone stipple it.

Night sights would be nice but I've heard that's being addressed with a new model.

Overall I pretty happy with it but as with any new model there is room for improvement.
