Default Cobalt Kinetics Model 27 Lower Receiver (Where to buy / Thoughts?)

Hey Guys -

I live in CT & want to get the Cobalt Kinetics Model 27 as a featureless option (I have pre-bans and "other firearms" etc etc but anyway).

Seems the Cobalt has mostly found it's market in CA. I was wondering what some users thoughts were on it?

And if anyone could point me in the direction of an AD that they thought might have one of the lowers in stock? I would prefer black but of course can always Cerakote it....reached out to a number of them ... as well as the company and have received no response. Thanks!

it was my understanding that they were only sold as complete guns, not having receivers sold seperately. they are nice, but like 5x what I can build a similarly performing gun for.....

This. I wanted one too but I was informed via social media they only sold complete units.

FWIW it is on their website:
https://www.cobaltkinetics.com/produ...conversion-kit

Although you cannot buy it through the website.

TBH I prefer this option if it IS possible over the complete rifle because it 1) has a lower with less "styling" on it (see the magwell) and also I would wind up pretty much replacing darn near every part of it so seems wasteful otherwise.
