Pre-surgery anticipation is a b--ch, but have a delay whether hours or days just compounds it, at least for me.

Again, the best to you and yours.

Respectfully

Kyle I completely agree and the closer it gets to Friday, the worse it will get. I know I'll pull thru, especially since I don't like odd numbers. The surgery in July will make it an even 22

Okay, the alarm I set on the Bat-clock to remind me to remind you Not to take your aspirin just went off.

If it feels unusual not taking it, you can just throw it over your shoulder for more old-fashioned good luck.

You've got this!!! With luck stacked thicker than your wallet!

We sure hope you're doing okay.

You probably just ran off with one of the hot nurses. ( or your wife if you're a lucky guy. )

But don't forget to let us know how you're doing when you feel up to it.

Hope you're recovering well.
Rest easy.
It took me a bit to recover from my back surgery also.
I'm sure you're not enjoying the hospital food.
But don't rush to get discharged make sure everything is working correctly first.

Talked to Bill today ,,,,not for too long ........

Seems the neurostimulator they implanted in this operation went south

So they had to open him up again and remove

They can't install another / too much scar tissue and nerve damage

He is still at Loma Limda

Bill and I go back to 1978 when we worked the LA County Men’s Central Jail together. We later worked Lakewood, Industry, Walnut, and San Dimas Stations together over the years. One of the best cops I ever had the pleasure to work with in my 32 year career. The job certainly takes its toll on the body, that’s for sure. We even went to physical therapy at the same location at one point.

I stopped by to visit him today. He’s in a lot of pain. He’s got a pretty good tolerance for pain too, but this is really hitting him hard.

I’m praying for him to get some pain relief soon.

Update

I went to Loma Linda yesterday to visit Bill

He is better , But still requires help to get out of bed
And help to get to the can

Between shoulder ( rotator cup ), Knee problems ,,noropathy in legs
He has a Lot of pain issues
He has been in Loma Linda since last Friday .......................
And still trying to get things straightened out with Doctor's and F-N Insurance

But on a positive note ::

He has grown a nice Beard
Reminded me of the former Gorton Fisherman Guy
