Default Ammo Sales

Just curios, I haven’t been following the debacle. Are ammo sales up/down/about the same since the new legislation?

Has ammo purchased at the range gone up or down in price? I understand that if you visit the range you can buy on spot as long as you shoot it all at the range. Has the price of same day ammo gone up?

What about jail ammo? How have prices fluctuated?

I need a proper range day but I hate to dig into the shelf stuff and I hate even more to pay a premium for BS range ammo just for the privilege.

What’s the net net of the new legislation?

TIA

Our prices haven't changed, but it's very frustrating when somebody orders ammo and then gets a denial. I had three denials just yesterday from guys who I know have legally purchased guns... I don't get it

I went to three Walmart’s to get someone eligible to sell me Ammo. It’s pain in butt. Turners was fastest transaction but 15-20% higher prices but was needed for comp night.

That’s insane man, I’m sorry you have to deal with the BS.

What response/reason is given for denial?

What do you mean eligible to “sell you” ammo?

The people who sell you ammo need a COE and to be but in the system. If one of the authorized employees are sick or on lunch or helping other customers or in the paint department, they can not sell ammo.

^^ yup! First Wally they can’t sell anything, they don’t want to assign anyone nor have anyone that will get on COE cert/list. 2nd was manager on hour lunch and third I got lucky. He did the BC before he opened up the cabinet to what I wanted. Only signed 2 forms at Wally and he did not photo copy my DL like turners and Discount Gun Mart did.

Too many gun owners in CA are union and thereby endanger their 2A rights by allowing their unions to support Dems and Libs in government all for a few more pennies per hour. Unions tell their members they empower, yet the reality is unions turn members into sheeple.

Default Ammo Sales

Ahhh that makes sense.

I frequent my local Big 5. Most of their stuff is **** tier but sometimes they do have reasonable brands and on sale too. Their knives are blow out pricing. Always pick something up when I go in.

Anyway, they sometimes have good ammo deals too. For the last 3-4 visits, they’ve told me they are not allowed to sell me ammo because “the manager” wasn’t there or the person who las a license to sell is on vacation. That explains it. I thought it was all bull**** and they the company didn’t want to sell any more guns and ammo.

What’s crazy is they got rid of ALL their long arms all together. When I asked why they stopped selling the answer was, wait for it, because “the LAPD walked in and asked them to stop selling because a lot of gangsters were buying shotguns”. Rrrriiight. That’s exactly how it works. A local PD walks into a Corporate store and tells them to stop selling a completely legal product. Sure buddy. Cool story. Lol

Wallyworlds surrounding Los Angeles have been rescuing us deprived for years. I stopped into mine this morning to test the waters and the two ladies(Bless their hearts) fumbled thru the computer screens but the manager had logged in early so no problem.

15 minutes later of them being prompted by the computers to ask for my real ID, citizenship confirmation, address confirmation, $1 process fee, they filled in the blanks and they printed the form, I signed, paid and gave me my reciept and, I was gone. I am sure the next two guys would have only taken 10 minutes each. My wallyworld has it down pat. And prices were the same as before the new law.

Too many of them are "sfarkytech" types and would NEVER vote Republican even if it would save their own lives.

The scumbag Menendez brothers supposedly bought their shotguns at Big 5. Maybe that's what the LAPD meant. LAPD is a little late, though.

+1 for 2AZONE. Good folks.

Also wanted to mention for any fans of Speer Gold Dot
Burbank Ammo & Guns has frickin' GREAT prices on Speer Gold Dot.
today I bought a few 50 Round Boxes of 124 grain 9mm Standard Pressure LE Hollow Point Ammo (sku 53618) for $26 bucks ea. that's almost 3 bucks cheaper than SGAMMO! anyways...had to share

They have cases of Wolf Gold 223 (Taiwan) for $310 and cases of wolf 762x39 for i think $229.
Just overall LOW prices for brick n morter here in L.A. - Thought I'd share
Theyre at 1313 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91506

Cheers

Add that to fireworks, meth, tannerite, 30 round mags, ferrets, Birchwood-Casey ink pens and a whole list of CA banned products.

Just more paper laws...
