Default CMMG RDB system (9mm)

Hey all. So in my quest to build a reliable 9mm AR I stumbled upon the CMMG 9mm radial delayed blowback system. Does anyone know if this barrel/bolt combo will work in a spikes 9mm glock lower?

This is what im talking about:

https://www.cmmginc.com/product/barr...140cm-sbn-9mm/

Quote:
Our MkG GUARD Barrel and BCG Kit allow you to build a Pistol Caliber Carbine using our Patent Pending Radial Delayed Blowback System. Unlike typical direct blowback systems, our RDB uses a bolt that is forced to rotate and unlock, slowing the BCG. This results in a lighter BCG for a lighter rifle, and less felt recoil than a straight blowback system.

Our MkG Barrel and Bolt Kits are designed to work exclusively with our MkG Lowers, and a mil-spec upper receiver with enlarged ejection port. Other manufacturers’ receivers may work, but we cannot guarantee function or reliability. For more information regarding fitment, check with our Tech Support team.

Bump for replies.

Am also interested in the answer, but on a 5.56 AR pistol lower.

This could be an issue?

You might want to call CMMG to double check.

Quote from CMMG website ”Requires enlarged ejection port for reliable operation.”

Thanks! Thinking of getting a complete Banshee 9ARC for use at home in NV, and using the upper in CA on a BBRAW pistol. I donít usually like Frankenguns, but CA is CA.

I got a new 9mm CMMG Banshee this weekend. Really excited as the upper can be used with my CA-DOJ registered 5.56 AR pistol lower when I am in CA. Can't wait to see how the RDB (radially delayed blowback) compares with the old MP5.

Question please. Does the RDB system negate the need for special 9mm triggers (e.g. Timney, Hiperfire, Wilson Combat, etc.)?

(Yes, an MRO is getting installed tonight)

Here's a thread on AR15.com about the RDB system, starting in 2017 when they first brought it out.
