San Bernardino here. 40th & Waterman Ave. area. I shoot down at Dave's all the time. No LEO or Military exp. (Im red/green colorblind and they dont seem to like that) Love goin out to the desert to shoot some 5.56.

It was a nice day out there Sunday. It was clear, calm and only 75 to 80 degrees. It's not so fun when it's pushing 115 degrees in the summer.

Maybe next time we can make a run up to the mountains.

Hey guys I think we should make a fixed schedule 1-2 times a month for meetings and shoots and however comes comes, make it about the same time
every month. I know ammo is expensive and costing more every day,Im trying to save all I can,so maybe only one shoot a month and one meet per month to get to know each other in the Inland empire? even if its just a 1hr coffee meet or something?

For a strip club (considering the other options) it's the best place to go without driving for at least an hour. As far as the food goes...... Sycamore Inn has better steaks (for $30-$40) but no show.

Hey guys, 223JHP reporting in. For two years I've been trying to get people from Moreno Valley to be interested in shooting and SHTF preparedness, to no avail :-( What you guys have going on here is awesome to say the least.

There are a couple of places here to shoot in MoVal, although they aren't exactly "legit". Since I've yet to have any problems, I will continue to do so and if anyone around here wants to go shooting *whenever* and doesn't mind obscure places then let me know. As far as a planned trip goes, I'm down for as soon as possible, a BLM shoot sounds good to go.

I am in between houses right now, but i grew up in Riverside/Corona and plan on buying a house in Riverside in a couple months.

I would like to meet up with you guys and shoot and talk about prepardness.

Identical boys. I have yet to believe that either option is better than the other. Although driving past the high school at the end of the day makes me think boys will be better.

I have two girls, I can guarantee you it was worse worrying about the boys coming to see them. I had at least one thing in my favor you wouldn't if you had girls: I was in le when they were teens and they told me most boys were afraid to come over to our house.

There is also the expense of weddings for three girls if you had had girls.

Where in the San Bernardino Mts.? More snow is in the forcast for this weekend FYI. I finally made it to the two shooting areas east of Lake Baldwin. If you are planning to going to these ones, I highly recommend a 4X4 with some ground clearance. There are still some spots of snow & ice on the road.

1N09 is scheduled to be open by then. However, we're still waiting for it to happen. Hopefully, I can confirm an opening this weekend.
