Welcome to the OC. I have to say that OC armory is outstanding. I am pretty new to guns and found Mike always helpful, professional, and patient with my noob questions. He even helped me to mount my scope (no charge) on my new SPS tactical even though I did not get the scope from him.

I don't live in OC but do work in Irvine. Wonderful place. I do shop some at Fowler's Gun Room in Orange. Some people complain about the service there but I have never had a problem. They are also well stocked with reloading supplies, though in the recent "panic" various items were often not available, though I got primers and powder when nobody else had them.

I've been a newbie for a year. Riflegear (Fountain Valley) and The Grant Boys (Costa Mesa) have always treated me very well, especially with the ton of questions that I've asked.

Welcome in advance future neighbor. To reiterate what has already been said,

Riflegear in Fountain Valley: very competitive prices, expansive inventory and excellent service makes up for (and explains) the long wait lines in the store

Fowler's in Orange: large inventory of firearms, reloading supplies, storage

OC Armory in Laguna Hills: my go-to for transfers and any SSE

Not one mention of the Stockade? I bought my first rifle there in 1977. Huge selection. I pop in once in a while looking for percussion caps for my 1860 Army that has never been fired since she joined the family, due to NO ONE having caps for sale. I need caps!
